How can I eliminate a drilling like noise coming from my central heating. I have bled all radiators many times and this doesnt cure the problem. The noise isnt constant and could go away for a few days and then reappear. I heard a similar noise in a hotel one night when it sounded like a drilling job was in progress in the room below!! Any ideas
Many thanks. Frank

This is a bit of a guess but had similar when I fitted a thermostatic radiator valve the wrong way around. The newer ones can go either way around in theroy but again having a valve open the wrong way around combined with high pump speeds may still cause the effect.
