Can anybody help me source the sash window mechanism for the more modern type of window? I am looking for balance system that is a tube with a helical rod inside, the rod is fixed to the window and the tube is fixed to the frame, the rod slides into the rod with sufficient resistance to hold the window in any position. The window can also be hinged flat by sliding to bolts, for cleaning etc. Any advise would be very welcome. Regards
