Hi guys

this is my first post, and your help would be greatly welcomed.

I am having a new kitchen fitted, basically opening up the dining room and kitchen to a large open plan.

we had a damp course done ( the chemical injection), the wall has since been rendered and replastered.

However, the damp patches are showing again, to the point now where white salts are beginning to form on the new plaster. I understand that to some degree this is a natural process of drying out, but should it be totally dry after 4 weeks?

The damp is located at a dado rail height up the wall from grade.

the builder assures me that the wall will dry out, but im not convinced.

Ive attached a photo of it to show location.

If this is damp returning what can we do, as the kitchen is being fitted next week..
