Hi there

I would like to wallpaper some small (33x33cm / 13x13in) melamine cupboard doors. The manufacturer describes the material I would like to paper over as: Particleboard, Melamine foil, Acrylic paint, ABS plastic.

I am note sure which type of glue to use. My husband says if we use traditional wallpaper paste, this will make the paper too wet and therefore it will be difficult to trim it to size once we have mounted it onto the small doors.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Obviously I have concerns about this as it doesn't seem like a very porous surface - will the paper manage to stick to the doors?

Many thanks!

Great - that's brilliant. One final question though - once I've primed it, do I apply the wallpaper with normal wallpaper paste, or is there an alternative?

Cheers
