Rising Demand for Rental Homes

The Association of Residential Letting Agents has revealed that demand for rental homes is rising due to a shortage of available properties on the market.

Those lucky few who are in a position to buy are finding that they cannot find the right property and may be hampered by the thought of any DIY work which needs to be carried out. Many people seem to prefer the thought of their landlord carrying out DIY work. In fact more than half of all landlords believe that tenants are being forced into renting rather than buying by the current economic climate.
