The dubious honour of being crowned Britain's Best Whistling Builder has gone to Adam Contoret who showed his skill by whistling a tune and showing of his best wolf whistle.
The competition was run by TradePoint and was judged by celebrity builder Craig Phillips. The finalists were judged in 6 categories including volume, range, creativity, etiquette, tunefulness and their wolf whistle.
Adam received £1000 and came in ahead of a handy man and a paver. He commented that sometimes his whistling can drive his workmates crazy and to win £1000 for a mornings whistling was worthwhile.TradePoint director Ian Herrett also pointed out that builders are famous for their whistling and they were happy to let them show off their skills.
